company, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1979
as a privately held real estate development and investment organization,
active in the development of commercial/industrial, retail, and residential
real estate for its own account, as well as on behalf of various North
American and international clients and partners.
Cameron has participated in real estate transactions and developments
totaling well in excess of 5 million square feet, including the South
Edmonton Common power centre, a 320 acre, 2.4 million square foot retail
development in Edmonton, which is now the single largest power centre
in North America.
Cameron’s reputation for producing projects of the highest standard
and quality is well known, as evidenced through its long-standing relationships
with such retailers as Ikea, Price Costco, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Loblaws,
Sobeys, Save-On-Foods, Safeway, Hudson’s Bay Company, London Drugs,
Canadian Tire, Office Depot, Staples, Cineplex Odeon, ATB Financial,
TD Canada Trust, Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s, PetroCanada.
Cameron has over the years gained respectable standing amongst the
financial sector, and has solidified sound relationships with various
investment financing entities, including Grosvenor International, Manulife
Mortgage, ATB Financial, Canadian Western Bank, and HSBC Bank Canada,
as well as various Real Estate Investment Trusts and Pension Funds.
