J.A. (Jerry) Naqvi

President

Jerry arrived in Canada in 1964 from his native Pakistan with an engineering scholarship to the University of Alberta. In 1973, he became Vice President, Development at Allarco Developments Ltd. under the tutelage of Dr. Charles Allard before venturing out on his own in 1980, when he founded what has now become Cameron Development Corporation.

Jerry remains considerably involved in his community via various committees and boards, and is a volunteer and executive member of a number of groups, among them, The University of Alberta Senate, The University of Alberta Hospital Foundation, The Glenrose Hospital Foundation, The Interfaith Dialogue Committee, The Society for Development in Third World Countries, CNIB, and Catholic Social Services. His professional associations include the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), the Industrial Developers Association of Canada, the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and the Alberta Real Estate Association.

Tina M. Naqvi-Rota, PEng, MBA

Executive Vice President

After completing her civil engineering degree and a successful term position with the City of Edmonton, Tina came to work with her father, Jerry, in 1991 as Director of Leasing. She concurrently completed her Masters in Business Administration, and has gone on to assume the responsibilities of Executive Vice President. Tina is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE), and the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC), and has been involved with and chaired various philanthropic and business-related boards and committees.

Cameron J. Naqvi, BSc, CET

Vice President, Leasing and Development

Having graduated with degrees in construction engineering from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and the Del E. Webb School of Construction (Arizona State University), Cameron spent his formative industry years in the U.S. as a real estate representative for Safeway. He then came into the family company, joining sister Tina and father Jerry in the role of Director of Development. He has since assumed the duties of Vice President, Leasing and Development.

Cameron sits on various real estate and development industry boards; he is a member of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET), alumni member of the Del E. Webb School of Construction, and member of the Alberta Real Estate Association and the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC). He is also the Chair of the City of Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee and a member of the Canadian Red Cross Fund Development Advisory Committee.

Harold R. Hudson

Vice President, Design and Construction

Harold brings to Cameron Development Corporation over 30 years of executive experience in project management and construction administration. His knowledge of building products and design is evidenced by the quality and scale of those projects he has managed across North America.

Harold has served on various industry boards and advisory committees, including the Edmonton Chapter of Construction Specifications Canada, the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC), and the Architectural Department, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Harold is also a Member of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).

Dwaine W. Uhrynchuk

Vice President, Finance

Dwaine has been involved in various organizations in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer since he obtained his accreditation as a Certified General Accountant in 1972. He came to Cameron in 1997 to assume the role of Vice President, Finance, having previously worked with such influential development industry leaders as Allarco Developments and Alldritt.

Shawn Dykstra, CGA

Controller

Having worked as a Senior Accountant since obtaining a Bachelor of Business Degree in 2003, Shawn obtained Certified General Accountant designation in 2004. He joined the Cameron team in September 2006 in the position of Controller, and has helped orchestrate various management/accounting department conversions and upgrades in that time. Shawn’s philanthropic experiences include work with the Edmonton Food Bank, the Edmonton Art Gallery, and various charitable causes.

Stewart Fraser, BCom, MPL

Manager, Finance and Development

As Manager of Finance and Development, Stewart has been responsible for facilitating joint venture financing and financial modeling for Cameron’s retail and office projects. Stewart specializes in financial feasibility studies and the bridging of on-site project management with financial modeling.

Stewart holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree With Distinction from the University of Alberta, as well as a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning with a focus on Real Estate Development/Real Estate Investment from Queen’s University. Stewart is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres.

Chet Domanski, BA, BDes, LEED® AP

Manager, Design and Architecture

Chet is a LEED® AP with ten years of experience in architecture and graphic and industrial design. He has extensive experience in retail and commercial architecture that includes visioning, site planning, and building design. As the Manager of Design and Architecture, Chet is responsible for managing the overall vision of projects.

Chet has a Bachelor of Design as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alberta, and is a member of the Canadian Green Building Council.

Rose Naqvi-Parasynchuk

Vice President, Cameron Homes

The youngest sibling in the Naqvi family, Rose’s academic background includes accreditation in both Business (Accounting Major) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting Major). She formally joined the Cameron organization in 1999, reporting directly to the Vice President, Finance as the controller. Rose currently oversees the company’s home building division. Rose is working towards full CGA accreditation, and remains involved with various charitable causes.
