Property Administrator Posted March 5, 2018 at 4:36 pm by Harold Pacheco REPORTS TO: Manager, Asset Operations DEPARTMENT: Property Management JOB DESCRIPTION: Property Administrator supports the Property Management division by performing administrative duties related to the management of real estate on behalf of the property owner. MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Provide support to the Property Management team for all aspects of day-to-day activities. Perform general administrative duties, which include maintaining filing systems and preparing day-to-day letters. Prepare, track and file service contracts for all properties. Update and maintain Contractor’s WCB and Insurance binder. Prepare tenant notices and general correspondence for Property Managers. In conjunction with the Assistant Real Estate Administrator, assist the department by preparing and filing tenant A/R letters. Assist with annual operating costs budget letters and year-end recoveries letters. Assist with various data entry as required by the Manager, Asset Operations. Assist Property Management team in enforcing terms and provisions of leases. Tenant document control. KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS: One to three years related experience in office administration. Completion of High School. Experience working in Property Management environment an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, planning and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines. Strong sense of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. Ability to work well within a team. Strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and customer service orientation.
